St Georges Tenants & Residents Association

The St Georges estate in Wapping transferred to EastendHomes in January 2006. A new estate management board was formed last year and in December 2010 decided to convert to a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA). A tenant and residents association (TRA) is not subject to the governance rules of EastendHomes. EeH supports the decision of the group to opt out of EeH governance framework. The St Georges TRA will review the position after a trial period of six months. At the end of this period the residents of the estate will be consulted on whether this arrangement should become permanent.

Currently the St Georges estate board is represented on the Main Board by Mary Nepstad, a member of the TRA.

The St Georges TRA meets on the third Monday of each month at Swedenborg Gardens OAP Clubroom.
