Eric Estate Planning Application submitted to Tower Hamlets Council

Following consultation with our residents last year, EastendHomes has submitted a planning application to build 142 new homes on Eric estate, without building on any existing space.

If approved, these new homes will be provided by converting existing empty and unused garages into homes for local people, and by adding rooftop extensions to some existing blocks. In addition, some of the blocks will get new lifts and additional security works where needed across the estate. The scheme will provide 142 new homes with over 50% affordable homes to be let in partnership with the Council.

Tania Nalywajko, resident of the Eric estate said:

"Our community welcomes the plans for Eric estate and the new homes it will bring for local people. We are also pleased with how the plans have been developed to address the local ASB issues we are currently experiencing. The introduction of CCTV to vulnerable areas of our estate would be especially welcome."
