Support with rising living costs
If you’re struggling with the rising costs of living you’re not alone. Recent Census research (May 2023) found the increasing cost of living be the most important issue in the UK by 92% of individuals surveyed.
Around two-thirds (67%) of adults reported that their cost of living had increased, compared with a month before.
Help is at hand if you’re looking for advice and someone to talk things over. Tower Hamlets Council has created a dedicated Cost of Living page on their website to help connect you with a wide range of support. To make an appointment with a trained advisor simply contact your local housing office.
With our residents and partners including Christ Church Isle of Dogs, The Felix Project and Toynbee Hall we also run weekly food banks providing free healthy food for those in need.
Food for Aldgate runs every Friday 11am-3pm at Toynbee Hall.
Church Church Isle of Dogs runs every Tuesday 10.30-12.30pm
