We end 2016 with some good news, our tenant satisfaction rating increased to its highest ever level of 84.4%.We couldn’t have achieved this without the commitment of our staff. Our recent awards event celebrated their role in making this happen.
Almost 700 tenants took part in our survey this year and their feedback shows that EastendHomes continues to provide excellent locally based housing services. Over 90% of tenants said it was important or very important that our services continue to be accessible at our local offices. The survey scores suggest that tenants still value being able to contact their housing staff in person and 90% of tenants had contacted their local office in the past year. Tenants are happy with our opening hours, 91% being happy with the office hours.
And in these difficult financial times, our social rent policy got a thumbs up by tenants, with satisfaction that our rents offer value for money rising by over 4%.
Thank you to the hundreds that took part and had their say. Such a large response rate provides assurance that the survey results are an accurate picture of how we are judged by our tenants. EastendHomes will listen to the feedback provided by you, and will continue our efforts to make the neighbourhoods we serve better places.
