Housing Inspection - 2 Stars & Promising Prospects for EastendHomes

by Audrey Batchelor last modified 2010-02-10 15:05

Government watchdog, the Audit Commission, has assessed EastendHomes as providing a good housing management service with promising prospects for improvement.

The Inspection, which was carried out by a team of inspectors between 13-17 October 2008, found that EastendHomes has a clear customer focus, performance is improving across services and residents are well informed and able to effectively influence services.

Martin Young, Chair of EastendHomes said that "We are delighted to have received such a positive report from the Governments Housing Inspectors.  The award of 2 Stars with Promising Prospects is a tremendous achievement for the organisation, especially since we are still a relatively new Registered Social Landlord and have only been providing services since April 2005. The result is a great credit to the hardwork and commitment of all our staff."
