Managing estates by walking about
Each month, residents join EastendHomes in their inspections of housing estates. EastendHomes prioritises getting things done and the best way to check whether standards are kept high is to walk around the estate and check. That’s why EastendHomes encourages residents to join in on the estate inspections as the best experts in what estates need are those that live on them. The work of the caretaking team is open to public inspection and comment and the resident inspectors make suggestions to housing staff on how to make improvements.
