We know that the coronavirus pandemic is changing how a lot of things work, and paying your rent may be one of those. 

If you currently pay your rent at the Post Office or at a PayPoint, consider other options such as payment by phone app, online, or Direct Debit, all of which can be done without leaving your home. More details are below.

If you are having difficulty paying your rent or making an application for Universal Credit, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to support you.

How to pay your rent

If you have difficulty paying your rent or wish to discuss your arrears please contact our Rents Team as soon as possible.

Your payment card gives you the freedom to pay at a wide range of local retail outlets or using a variety of other methods which won’t even require you to leave the comfort of home.

You can use your payment card to make payments at any outlet displaying one of the following signs. Simply take your payment card to the counter together with your payment.

You will be given a printed receipt as proof of payment which we recommend that you keep in a safe place.

 
Post Office logo Post Office: Pay at any Post Office with cash, cheques or debit cards.

Pay Point logo

PayPoint: Pay by cash at any local store displaying the PayPoint logo.
Telephone payments icon Telephone payments: Pay by telephone. Making sure you have your payment card handy together with your debit card just call our Rents Team who can take your payment there and then.

EastendHomes is now able to offer all residents the option to set up a Direct Debit to pay. Simply call our Rents Team and we can set everything up for you over the phone.

 
Direct Debit logo Direct Debit: By far the easiest and most convenient means of payment is by Direct Debit. Paying your charges by Direct Debit offers a hassle-free solution to those who worry about paying their bills on time. You will need to have a current bank or building society account before you can set up this facility.

You may find it more convenient to use the following additional services. These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 
Internet payments icon Internet Payments: Pay over the internet. Making sure you have your payment card handy together with your debit card, simply use the dedicated payment site.
Allpay app icon By app: You can make your payments via smartphone. Simply download the app of our payment partner allpay and follow the instructions. Available for Google Android, Apple, and Windows phones. Click here for more information.
