Fire Safety in High Rise Buildings

EastendHomes take our responsibilities for managing fire safety at high-rise buildings very seriously, and will comply with the Building Safety Act 2022. This means that fire and building safety management are managed with the support and involvement of all residents.

If you have any concerns or questions about how fire safety is managed at your high rise building , please contact us using our on-line contact form (below on this page), email firesafety@eastendhomes.net or by telephone. If work relating to fire and building safety is planned at any of our high-rise buildings, residents will be notified and given the opportunity to contribute to any decisions that need to be made.

Our Resident Engagement Strategy is available to read or download at [coming soon].

You can access two key fire safety documents below:

Every year the communal spaces at our high-rise buildings are inspected to ensure that fire safety is being properly managed. The fire risk assessment for each of our high-rise buildings is available here: Fire Risk Assessments.

An EWS1 certificate shows that external walls have been assessed to identify any potentially hazardous material or cladding. A copy of EWS1 certificate for our high-rise buildings is available here: EWS1 Forms
